摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a technology to derive a positional relation between an object coordinate axis which is fixed to an object of detection and a standard coordinate axis which is established regardless of a movement or the like of the object of detection. SOLUTION: A magnetic field sensor which forms a first and a second linear magnetic fields to progress in the known direction on the standard coordinate axis and is contained in a capsule-type endoscope 2 which is the object of detection detects the directions of progress of the first and the second linear magnetic fields on the object coordinate axis. The azimuthal deviation of the object coordinate axis to the standard coordinate axis is detected by comparing the directions of progress of the first and the second linear magnetic fields on the object coordinate axis detected by the magnetic field sensor and the known directions on the standard axis. Also, a diffuse magnetic field of which the intensity declines corresponding to a distance of progress is formed besides the first and the second linear magnetic fields and the positional relation of the origin of the object coordinate axis to the origin of the standard coordinate axis is derived by detecting the intensity of the diffuse magnetic field with the magnetic field sensor contained in the capsule-type endoscope 2.
