PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comfortably clean a private part for a user, by improving cleaning position accuracy of a nozzle means. SOLUTION: This sanitary cleaning device has: the nozzle means 1 for jetting wash water toward the human body private part; a motor 3 for driving the nozzle means 1; a gear 2 for transmitting motive power of the motor 3 to the nozzle means 1 and uniformly applied with a plurality of marks; a driving distance measuring means 4 for measuring a driving distance and driving time of the gear 2 by detecting the marks applied to the gear 2 in rotation; a driving time measuring means 5 for measuring time in respective states of driving/stopping the motor 3; and a control means 6 for controlling torque applied to the motor 3. Thus, since the control means 6 improves position accuracy of the nozzle means 1 by controlling the torque applied to the motor 3, stable private part cleaning is provided for the user.
