<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle, which enables steering even when a reaction motor is failed without composing the reaction motor as a dual system to add pseudo reaction to a steering means. <P>SOLUTION: In this device, a second steering means 5 is provided that is composed as a separate body from a steering wheel 2 as a steering means. A steering control part 3 prohibits primary control to a steering motor M1 based on result of detection of a steering angle sensor 23 in a case of determination of fail of the reaction motor M3 for adding reaction to the steering wheel 2, and it controls the steering motor M1 in accordance with operation of the second steering means 5 to realize steering in accordance with the intention of a driver. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
