COMPOSITE FLOCCULANT EXCELLENT IN INSTANTANEOUS FLOCCULATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocculant having quick flocculation speed and sedimentation speed even relative to drainage in which a contaminant is colloidally finely dispersed and capable of quickly performing waste water treatment. SOLUTION: The composite flocculant comprises a particle mixture of a first flocculant particle in which 100 wt.prts. of clay mineral is carried with 0.01-4 wt.pts. of polymer flocculant; and a second flocculant particle in which 100 wt.pts. of clay mineral is carried with 30-80 wt.prts. of inorganic flocculant and contains the polymer flocculant and the inorganic flocculant at a weight ratio of 1:100 to 1:5.
