SOLUTION: When the number of rotations Nm1 of a power generation motor usually driven as a generator becomes less than 0 and negative torque is outputted from a driving motor usually driven as an electric motor, target torque Te* of an engine is changed (S160) such that torque outputted from the engine to a ring gear shaft as a driving shaft through a planetary gear mechanism is coincident with requirement torque set based on acceleration operation of a driver. the target number of revolution Ne* of the engine is changed (S190) so as to become within a range of battery output limit Wout and switching processing of a gear of the transmission mounted to the driving motor is started (S200). As a result, since the torque outputted from the motor MG2 becomes a value 0, switching of the gear state of the transmission can be smoothly performed.
