<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a metal supporter suitable for bringing a core into tight contact with the inner surface of an outer cylinder and a method for preparing it. <P>SOLUTION: The structure of the metal carrier comprises the honeycomb core 1 formed by the multiple winding of metal plate materials 10, 11 and the outer cylinder 2 housing the core 1, and is unified by inserting the core 1 into the outer cylinder 2 by pressure. Protrusions 22 protruding to the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 in an inner direction of the radius are installed and the core 1 inserted by pressure into and fitted to the outer cylinder 2 extends in the axis direction engaging to the protrusions 22, provided with grooves 14 sunken inward in the direction of the radius on the outer peripheral surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
