PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store a cup holder compactly in a height direction while a vessel holding function of the cup holder is sufficiently ensured. SOLUTION: The cup holder supports a bottom of the vessel and holds a side surface of the vessel and is provided with: a recessed-like base holder 10 having an opened upper surface; a movable holder 20 liftably provided in the base holder; a receiving member 30 liftably provided in the base holder 10 and capable of supporting the bottom of the vessel; and an interlocking mechanism 40 for transmitting the lifting action of the receiving member as the lifting action of the movable holder 20. Then, the interlocking mechanism is set such that action when the receiving member 30 is pushed down from the rising position to the descending position is converted to action that the movable holder 20 in the state that it is stored in the base holder 10 is pushed up to the state that it is projected to an upper surface side of the base holder 10.
