PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fly-back time and to obtain a large angle of deflection using a resonance-driven optical deflector, and thereby to realize constant angular velocity scanning. SOLUTION: In the optical scanner is provided with a light deflector capable of deflecting light around two axes and with an optical path deflection element, the optical scanner is characterized in that the optical path deflection element is provided with a reflection area of a positive curvature and that of a negative curvature.
