The method involves having a cleaning head movable inside a pipe (4, 4a, 4b) with liquid radiated against an internal wall (2) for cleaning. The internal wall is cleansed with a gas blast from the cleaning element. The cleaning element is movable on the internal wall. A tubing axle has a downward gradient during the cleaning procedure and a movement of the cleaning head along the tubing axle toward the sloping tubing axle takes place. A liquid is provided from nozzles of the cleaning head and arranged in such a manner, that the stored nozzles of the cleaning head are rotated and turned. A cleaning element is arranged with the cleaning head. The cleaning head rests against the internal wall of pipe by a guiding device (6).
