<p>The present invention relates to a method for terminating a service data unit discard, called hereafter SDU discard, with explicit signalling procedure comprising: transmitting a first status protocol data unit (120), called hereafter status PDU, comprising a move receiving window super-field (200) by a sender (100) to a receiver (110); wherein the move receiving window super-field (200) comprises at least a sequence number field (240), called hereafter SN_MRWLENGTH; and receiving a second status PDU (130) comprising an acknowledgement super-field (400) by the sender (100) from the receiver (110); wherein if the second status PDU (130) acknowledges all PDUs up to and including a PDU with a sequence number equal to a predetermined value, the SDU discard with explicit signalling procedure is terminated, wherein the predetermined value is equal to SN_MRWLENGTH (240) minus one. <IMAGE></p> |
