FIELD: machine engineering, possibly super-finishing curvilinear surfaces of parts, mainly raceways of outer and inner races of ball bearings. ^ SUBSTANCE: holder with abrasive tool is mounted coaxially to mandrel for mounting part with possibility of rocking in plane normal to rotation axis of mandrel and along generatrix of worked surface. Holder is in the form of two springs. On one end of each spring abrasive tools are jointly mounted. On inner surfaces of springs there are protrusions for engaging with double-side wedge. The last may perform reciprocation motion between springs. On other ends of each spring two parts of ball-screw pair are mounted mutually opposite and they are shifted one relative to other. One nut of part of ball screw pair may be fixed on rest of machine tool. Screws of parts of ball screw pair are mounted with possibility of rocking motion in nuts. Invention eliminates long-period running-in of tools and formation of facets on worked surface. ^ EFFECT: possibility for using diamond abrasive bars, enhanced efficiency and quality of working. ^ 8 cl, 4 dwg |
