PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor apparatus capable of obtaining a digital value of a signal component with high accuracy, by using an A/D conversion circuit the number of bits of an output digital value is small. SOLUTION: A latch circuit 21<SB>n</SB>latches and outputs a voltage V<SB>n</SB>, in response to an incident luminous quantity to each photodiode PD<SB>n</SB>via an integral circuit 11<SB>n</SB>and a CDS circuit 12<SB>n</SB>. The voltage V<SB>n</SB>, outputted from the latch circuit 21<SB>n</SB>, is given to a subtractor circuit 33 via a switch SW<SB>31, n</SB>and a wire L1. Further, a voltage V<SB>n-1</SB>, outputted from a latch circuit 21<SB>n-1</SB>, is given to the subtractor circuit 33 via a switch SW<SB>31, n-1</SB>and a wire L2. The subtractor circuit 33 subtracts the voltage V<SB>n-1</SB>from the voltage V<SB>n</SB>and outputs a voltage U<SB>n</SB>, in response to the result of the subtraction. An A/D conversion section 40 converts the voltage U<SB>n</SB>, outputted from the subtractor circuit 33 into a digital value and provides the output of the result, by using a voltage V<SB>FS2</SB>received via a switch SW<SB>42</SB>for a full scale.
