PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus which are capable of manufacturing efficiently a glass-made frame with a high quality, without needing a complicated mechanism. SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus is provided with a molding tool 21, which has a receiving concave part 23 of a rectangular frame shape and is for receiving in this receiving concave 23 a plurality of glass plate bands with the end parts lapped each other, with a coil heater for heating and melting respectively and simultaneously the end parts of a plurality of glass plate bands received in the above receiving concave part 23 of the molding tool 21, and with a pressurizing mechanism 22 for so pressing respectively and simultaneously the end parts, which are molten by this coil heater, of a plurality of glass plate bands as to become a thickness of the glass plate band.
