<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling method of an unvulcanized rubber member capable of efficiently cooling the unvulcanized rubber member subjected to extrusion molding for a short time, and a cooling apparatus for use therein. <P>SOLUTION: Since an extrudate SE is cooled by ejecting a cooling liquid CW from respective jet nozzles 2 and temperatures of the extrudate SE are measured at a plurality of positions in the width direction of the extrudate SE by a temperature sensor 4 after a predetermined time T1 is elapsed from the point of time when the extrudate SE passes under the jet nozzles 2, the temperature difference between the surface and inside of the extrudate SE after the elapse of the predetermined time T1 is reduced and the cooling states of the extrudate SE at respective positions in the width direction can be accurately grasped. Further, the measured temperature of the temperature sensor 4 is compared with a predetermined temperature range by the control part 21 of a controller 20 and the respective jet nozzles 2 are moved in the width direction of the extrudate SE on the basis of a comparison result to efficiently cool the whole in the width direction of the extrudate SE. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
