PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a disk cartridge from jumping out of a cartridge holder when ejected. SOLUTION: The disk recording/reproducing device has a shutter lock release member 116 of a leaf spring having a projection 117 at the tip while being overlapped with the outer surface of one side 102c of a holder 102 for accommodating a disk cartridge 1. When inserting the disk cartridge 1, the projection 117 is pressed on the side and the release member 116 escapes and travels in a direction separated from one side 102c of the holder 102. When the disk cartridge 1 is inserted to a prescribed position, the lock of a shutter member 4 in the disk cartridge 1 is released by the projection 117. An escape travel regulation section 241 for regulating the escape and travel of the release member in a direction separated from one side of the cartridge holder is provided outside the release member 116 to the halfway until the holder 1 travels from the recording/reproduction position to the insertion position.
