PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photographic sensitive material improved in preservation stability of photographic performances and in moisture resistance in development as a material for printing plate making. SOLUTION: In the heat developable photographic sensitive material having a photosensitive layer containing organic silver salt particles, silver halide grains and a reducing agent on at least one side of a support and having a backing layer on a side opposite to the side having the photosensitive layer, the heat developable photographic sensitive material contains a dye having its absorption maximum at 600-850 nm and a stabilizing agent in the backing layer and has a barrier layer consisting of a latex and a wax emulsion as the outermost layer of the photosensitive layer side.
