PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the possibility of normally performing communication, even if a receiver side communication device cannot acquire the modulation system of a receiving wave. SOLUTION: A communication device comprises a modulation system identifier storage unit 30 for storing information indicating a modulation system used for demodulating a first frame; a modulation system for determining unit 22 for acquiring information indicating the modulation system of a second frame to be received after the first frame; a modulation system identifier for selecting unit 24 for selecting information indicating one modulation system from information indicating the modulation system of the first frame to be stored in the unit 30 and information indicating the modulation system of the second frame to be acquired by a modulation system determining unit 22, and deciding the modulation system of the second frame, on the basis of the information indicating the modulation system to be selected; and a decoding function unit 32 for acquiring a demodulated signal, by using the modulation system to be decided by the unit 24 to demodulate the second frame.
