A reduction-resistant dielectric porcelain composition not only exhibiting excellent low-frequency dielectric characteristics but also enhanced with respect to accelerated life of insulation resistance and a laminate ceramic capacitor of high reliability are provided by a composition comprising {(Ca/Sr/Mg/Ba)O} m(Zr/Ti)O2 as a main component and, per 100 mol thereof, less than 7 mol of a V oxide and less than 15 mol of an Al oxide preferably together with less than 5 mol of an Mn oxide and less than 20 mol of a double oxide {(Ba/Ca) O}vSiO2 as subcomponents (provided that 0.8 <= m <= 1.3 and 0.5 <= v <= 4.0).
