<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coded data reproducing apparatus/method capable of reproducing an image without image irregularities in the case of reproducing the image from recording media on which each of division coded data are individually recorded, each of the division coded data being obtained by dividing coded data which are produced by adopting a moving picture coding system including the intra-picture coding and the inter-picture prediction coding. <P>SOLUTION: The coded data reproducing method is characterized in that display inhibition information read from a first recording medium is invalidated in the case that the first recording medium is continuously reproduced in succession to reproduction of a second recording medium on which division coded data required for inter-picture prediction decoding of the division coded data recorded on the first recording medium are recorded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
