PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent display unevenness without requiring intricate correction to image signals. SOLUTION: The respective pixels arranged at the intersections with a plurality of scanning lines and a plurality of data lines segmented to blocks by each of N (N is a natural number of≥2) in a display panel 100 attain the luminance meeting the voltages applied to the respective data lines when the scanning lines are selected in respective selection periods. A data line driving circuit of the display panel 100 applies the applied voltages to N pieces of image signal lines corresponding to the data lines of the respective blocks by each of the blocks in the respective selection periods to the respective data lines and on the other hand, the circuit applies the voltages to the plurality of the data lines in a precharge period not overlapping on the selection periods. A precharge voltage generation circuit 350 of the image processing circuit 300 generates N kinds of the precharge voltages corresponding to the data lines, each of which belongs to each block. A selector 340 selects each of N kinds of the precharge voltages generated by the precharge voltage generation circuit 350 in the precharge period and supplies the same to each image signal line.
