<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-made container having enhanced strength by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The cylindrical resin-made container 2 has a body 6 continuing from a mouth 4 made at the top, and a bottom 10 at the lower end of the body. Peripheral grooves 3 are formed in the body 6 one above the the other such that a peripheral groove 3a formed in the front half of the upper part of the container is located above a peripheral groove 3d formed in the back half of the upper part of the container and a peripheral groove 3c formed in the front half of the lower part of the container is located below a peripheral groove 3b formed in the back half of the lower part of the container. In such a resin-made container 2, when the body 6 receives a pressing force from a sidewise direction, the peripheral grooves 3 function as ribs and, thereby, prevent deformation. In addition, since the peripheral grooves 3 are not formed all the way around the body 6, the peripheral grooves 3 are not crushed even if pressing force is applied to the container 2 from a vertical direction and, therefore, high strength can be retained. Further, since the peripheral grooves 3 are discontinuous, they are prevented from buckling even force in a bending direction is applied to the container. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
