INFORMATION PROVIDING SYSTEM, MEDIUM SIDE APPARATUS, INFORMATION POOL SERVER, AND INFORMATION PROVIDING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system and information providing method capable of providing an advertisement viewer with advertisement related information easily and efficiently by using a portable device of a user to be the advertisement viewer on the spot, pooling the advertisement related information every portable device separately at a time, fetching the pool information to an information terminal of the user when necessary, and displaying it.

SOLUTION: A device ID of the user's portable device 1 is read by a medium side apparatus (3) provided on the side of an advertising medium (2) and a global ID corresponding to it is outputted to the user. On the other hand, the global ID and the advertisement related information are accumulated in an information pool server (4) which has been separately established. When the global ID is sent from the user's information terminal (5), the advertisement related information corresponding to it is returned to the information terminal (4).
