PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothes drier and a washing drier without reducing a drying speed, while reducing heat damage of clothes by lowering the air temperature in drying. SOLUTION: This clothes drier has an air heating heater 10 for heating air for drying the clothes 6 by using convection of heated air, and a halogen heater 21 for radiating heat for drying the clothes 6 by using radiation heat; and dries the clothes 6 by controlling the output ratio of the air heating heater 10 and the halogen heater 21.
