PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of being difficult in structuring the conventional differential amplifier in a small area because two common-mode feedback circuits are required in case of a two stage configuration, and the problem of bringing the increased area of a reference signal generation circuit using the differential amplifier, because the common-mode feedback circuit and phase compensation of the amplifier are required to obtain a stable reference voltage. SOLUTION: The differential amplifier is structured of a pseudo differential amplifier (parallel connection of two single output amplifiers) 3 in a pre-stage, and a differential amplifier 4 in a post-stage. Also, the differential amplifier of the above two-stage structure is used for the reference voltage generation circuit. This makes the common-mode feedback circuit unnecessary in the pre-stage pseudo differential amplifier, enabling stable operation of both the differential amplifier and the reference voltage generation circuit using the differential amplifier in a small area.
