摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical process for manufacturing a liquid drop ejection head capable of realizing a high density nozzle and having a high degree of freedom in selection of material, and to provide an image forming apparatus employing that liquid drop ejection head. SOLUTION: A hollow tubular die material (58) for composing each pressure chamber (56) is prepared and a piezoelectric (62) is formed on the inner wall of that die material (58) by utilizing a jet deposition method (aerosol deposition method; AD). When the die material (58) is formed of a resin, or the like, a step for forming an outer circumferential electrode (60) on the inner circumferential surface of the die material (58) is added on the prestage of the step for forming piezoelectric. The step for forming an outer circumferential electrode can be skipped when a metallic die member is employed since the die member itself functions as an electrode. After a piezoelectric (62) is formed by AD method, an electrode (64) is formed on the inner circumferential surface thereof.
