PURPOSE: A treatment and recycling method of food waste and equipment thereof is provided to treat food waste completely, so that it can be used as energy source. The acid fermented organic acid, the finally treated product, can be used as a carbon source that is necessary to treat nitrogen and phosphorus contained sewage and can increase methane gas production owing to the high content of organic matter when it is fed to digestion tank of wastewater treatment plant. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the following steps: (i) tear the collected food waste bags those are transferred from feed hopper, screen coarse impurities, crush to screen; (ii) magnetic separation of magnetic metals contained in the crushed food waste; (iii) centrifugal separation of non-ferrous heavy materials contained in the separated food waste by high speed rotation; (iv) secondarily crush to suitable particle size for hydrolysis of food waste and increasing acid fermentation efficiency; (v) remove fine vinyl particles; (vi) conduct a cyclone process to remove fine heavy material contained in food waste treated; and (vii) conduct acid fermentation to hydrolyze and acid ferment the food waste.
