PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a design support system capable of efficiently performing a design by cooperative work even in a remote place by synchronizing a data storage owned by a device performing a design support. SOLUTION: This system comprises at least one basic design support device 2 used for basic design for determining basic contents of a design and including a basic design data storage 21 accumulating basic design data formed by the basic design, and at least one detailed design support device 3 used for detailed design for performing detailed design based on the basic design data and including a detailed design data storage 31 accumulating detailed design data formed by the detailed design.
