The sofa (10) has a seat (14) and a back rest (20) releasably fixed to it, in the fixed state covering a part of the depth of the seat. The sofa has an insert connection (23) for the back rest. The back rest has a clamp (22), with which it is engaged with a locator (16) in a rear area of the sofa. The back rest is displaceable in the directio nof width of the noise.
