PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect the recording film of a recording optical disk when a first area such as a BCA is formed.

SOLUTION: The optical disk is provided with a first area having an area formed into a striped shape in a circumferential direction to enable intermittent acquisition of a signal whose reflected light amount is reduced, and a second area irradiated with an optical beam to enabling a user to record user data. The first area is formed at a predetermined interface in a diameter direction from the second area, data recorded in the form of a concave-convex pit in the first area are recorded between the second and first areas, and the data of the second area is encrypted to be recorded by using the data recorded in the first area as a key.
