PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regional crime prevention support system which is capable of tracing molesters, injuring criminals, arsonists, snatchers, etc. on roads, stolen bicycles, and persons to be searched, by utilizing vending machines. SOLUTION: In the regional crime prevention support system, a vending machine 10 is provided with a start switch 12 for detecting an emergency, a camera 14 which is started by the start switch, and a radio transmitter/receiver 18 which transmits a photographed picture and informs the other vending machines of the occurrence of the emergency to start cameras of these vending machines.
