CONTROL METHOD FOR EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM AND EXHAUST EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for an exhaust emission control system and the exhaust emission control system preventing generation of white smoke and efficiently regenerating a DPF or a NOx catalyst by stopping regeneration control at suitable timing when exhaust temperature lowers during the regeneration control wherein unburned fuel is added to exhaust gas in relation to regeneration of the continuous regeneration type DPF device or the NOx catalyst.

SOLUTION: An exhaust temperature sensor 22 is disposed upstream an exhaust emission control device 13 and during the regeneration control by a regeneration control means 33c, when a detected temperature Tdm by the exhaust temperature sensor 22 becomes equal to or lower than a predetermined judgment temperature Td0, the regeneration control by the regeneration control means 33c is stopped after the elapse of a predetermined delay time tlag.
