The sink has a side wall made up of mineral material, and mineral material plates (1`, 1``, 1```) that are connected to each other. A base (2) made up of metal e.g. stainless steel, is provided. A circular nut, which is a relieved nut with dovetail shaped cross section, is provided at a lower end of inner side of the side wall. The metal base is inserted and sealed in the circular nut by an adhesive.
