[PROBLEMS] To realize a highly-reliable, stable digital data transmission without the need of reference clock and shake-hand operation. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A digital data transmission method for alternatively and periodically transmitting first and second information during first and second intervals, respectively, wherein the information amount of the first information per unit time during the first interval is greater than that of the second information per unit time during the second interval, and the second information during the first interval is transmitted as pulse-width-modulated serial data.
