<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communications system, wherein moving image data resulting from imaging at an arbitrary place are distributed to multiple spots by mailing the contents up to a gateway, while keeping high quality, using a simple and inexpensive configuration. <P>SOLUTION: Content data of a seminar, generated on a seminar site 2, are transmitted from the seminar site 2 to a gateway 6 via an optical fiber line network 5.
