PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper making machine a drier of which has improved performance of moist extraction. SOLUTION: This paper-making machine is equipped with the drier (1) including a heat-drying cylinder (3) and a pressure hood (4), and further equipped with an input side guide roller (7) and an output side guide roller (9) for guiding a web (2) made of a fiber material together with at least one screen (5) and an impermeable band (8) to produce paper, paperboard, thin paper or web of other fiber materials (2), wherein a means (10) for removing air remaining in the at least one screen (5) is arranged in front of the drying cylinder (3) in the running direction of the screen (5).
