PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inductor that can reduce noise components of a common mode and a normal mode by a simple constitution, and can make a relatively large current flow. SOLUTION: The inductor 1 is provided with first and second magnetic cores 3 and 5, and first and second windings 11 and 13. The first magnetic core 3 contains first to fourth portions 3a-3d arranged in this order in the peripheral direction, and constitutes a closed magnetic circuit. The second magnetic core 5 is formed with a gap from the first magnetic core 3, and constitutes a closed magnetic circuit. The first and the second windings 11 and 13 are wound around the first and the third portions 3a and 3c of the first magnetic core 3, respectively, in winding directions in which the windings 11 and 13 generate magnetic fields in the same peripheral directions by common-mode noise.
