PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified optical plug which is low in cost, simple in structure and can be used for connecting optical fibers. SOLUTION: The simplified optical plug is provided with an integrated ferrule 40, wherein a ferrule part 41 for stably fixing an optical fiber, a plug frame part 42 having a projection 44 to be locked by a locking claw 15, and a stop ring 43 for fixing kevlers of an optical fiber cord are integrally formed with a resin composition. This optical plug is coupled with an adapter 10, wherein a split sleeve 11 and an elastic locking piece 13 having the locking claw 15 in the front end are provided inside a housing.
