METHOD FOR GASIFYING SUBSTANCE-CONTAINING ORGANIC MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for gasifying a substance containing organic materials, capable of effectively removing tar content produced in the gasification of the substance containing the organic materials at 283-973K, preferably at 423-773K temperature range. SOLUTION: This method for effectively removing the tar without reducing effective gas components becoming a gas fuel and gas components effective for synthesizing a liquid fuel is provided by holding a carbonaceous substance having a large specific surface area and mean pore diameter at 283-973K, desirably in 423-773K temperature range together with the mixed gas containing the tar and formed by the gasification of the substance containing organic materials.
