An assembly of mouldings (16, 42) that can be joined together and used as boats or other floating structures. The mouldings are rotationally moulded plastics material and can be of identical shape. Each of the mouldings has a n outer face (14A, 14E, 14F, 22) incorporating at least two zones that are advantageously flat and disposed at an angle one to the other so that one moulding can be joined face-to-face in different configurations. The mouldin gs preferably each have a hexagonal profile that is similar to each other. The mouldings can be joined together end-to-end or side-to-side. Apertures (18, 30, 56, 60, 62) can be cut in respective faces of the mouldings to provide windows or access to the interior of the moulding.
