PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift for a vehicle inexpensively making a coated element hard to be turned up even if a placing surface of a placing portion is formed by a thin-film coating element of soft material such as rubber in order to improve appearance, slip-preventive performance of a placed element, and calmness when moving a vehicular chair and the like. SOLUTION: A rail cover covering an upper surface and a side surface of a guiding rail 21 is equipped with a covering portion 50A covering a lateral end edge portion of the coated element M attached so as to form the placing surface of the placing portion 1 from an upper side, at an end edge portion on the placing portion 1 side.
