PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system appropriate for reconfiguring a programmable logic circuit so as to improve throughput as an entire system for a cooperative operation by a plurality of information processing apparatuses in the system comprising the plurality of information processing apparatuses each capable of executing a part of processing using the programmable logic circuit, via a network.

SOLUTION: An information processing system 1 includes first to fifth printer units 2A-2E and a management server 3, a print processing section 200 in each printer unit includes an information management part 200a, a programmable logic circuit 200b, a reconfiguration processing part 200c, a module access part 200d, and a module access acceptance part 200e, and a system optimization section 300 in the management server 3 includes a management information storage part 300a, a reconfiguration content determination part 300b, and a reconfiguration information storage part 300c.
