<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery on negative electrode of which lithium is not deposited even if charging is performed at a high rate, and which does not cause cycle deterioration. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery uses a negative electrode active material, where graphite particles, the surface of which is covered with amorphous carbon, and graphite particles, the surface of which is not covered with amorphous carbon, are mixed to make the negative electrode active material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
