PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear transformation device where nuclides are transformed with a relatively small-scale device. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a structure which has palladium or palladium alloy or hydrogen occluding metal other than palladium or that other than palladium alloy and a substance of a low work function and a radioactive waste 14 which is put into contact with one surface 11A of a structure 11.
