PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce suction and exhaust note according to use condition of a vehicle. SOLUTION: This variable muffler control device is provided in an intake route or an exhaust route of an engine in the vehicle, and includes a variable muffler 20 constructed to be able to adjust resonance frequency, a control means 12 having a plurality of control patterns established and capable of controling the variable muffler 20 based on each of the control pattern, and a switching means 14 switching control pattern for the control means 12 to control the variable muffler 20 based on one of the control patterns.
