An optical scanner (1) has a lens mounting (2) with actuator coils on it and a magnet (11) for generating a non-uniform magnetic field running through the actuator coils. The magnet consists of a main magnet (21) and side magnets (22) on its sides. The side magnets have an opposite magnetic field direction.
