<p>In a papermaking process a fibrous suspension is sandwiched between two forming sieves. The sieve has a first outer set of wire threads aligned in the direction of travel, followed by a layer of transverse wire threads, followed by a layer of wire threads aligned with the direction of travel, followed by a layer of transverse threads, followed by pairs of first staples and second staples. The two outer layers are linked by wire staples.</p> |
