Ball valve

The ball valve has at least one outlet channel (12,14), at least one inlet channel (16), an essentially spherical switch element (20) between the inlet and outlet channels for connecting or isolating the inlet and outlet channels and a sealing element (24,26) in contact with the switch element. The sealing element has two sealing lips that both contact the switch element along a circular line.
