<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search a new L-glutamic acid-releasing gene, and then using a microorganism highly expressing the L-glutamic acid-releasing gene to improve the efficiency of the fermentative product of L-glutamic acid. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the L-glutamic acid comprises isolating L-glutamic acid-releasing gene yhfK, while using L-glutamic acid durability under an acidic condition as an index, making a microorganism highly expressing the yhfK, culturing the obtained microorganism in a culture medium to produce and accumulate the L-glutamic acid in the culture medium, and then collecting the L-glutamic acid from the same culture medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
