PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve gate type mold apparatus which can reduce a temperature difference between molding materials in a material passage of a valve device. SOLUTION: This valve gate type mold apparatus is equipped with the valve device 21 for opening/closing the gate 6 which makes the material passage 8 communicate with a cavity 13. The valve device 21 has a valve body 1 which is built in a hole part 4, formed in a main body part of a fixed mold 11, in the state of holding a gap 25 between the valve body 1 and an inner surface of the hole part 4. Heaters 9 and 9A are provided on the side of the gate 6 of an outer peripheral part of the valve body 1 and on the other side of the gate 6; an axial intermediate part is provided with a cavity part 35; and the cavity part 35 is provided with a heat transfer body 36. In the valve body 1 wherein the heaters 9 and 9A are provided on the outer peripheral parts on both sides, though the temperature of an axial central part originally tends to be higher than that of both end sides, heat of the intermediate part is released into the gap 25 between the valve body 1 and the inner surface of the hole part 4 from the heat transfer body 36, so that the temperature of the axial intermediate part can be decreased and so that the temperature difference between the molding materials in the material passage 8 of the valve body 1 can be reduced.
