摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxide phosphor which has a lifetime longer than that of an SrTiO3:Pr, Al phosphor and can fluoresce at a high luminance even when excited with low-energy electron beams and to provide a vacuum fluorescent display. SOLUTION: In a mixing process P1, a matrix raw material, a Pr source, an Li source, etc., are mixed together. In a firing process P4, the mixture is fired at a temperature in the range of 1,050 to 1,150 (°C). Therefore, a CaTiO<SB>3</SB>:Pr, Li oxide phosphor having a lifetime longer than that of an SrTiO<SB>3</SB>:Pr, Al phosphor and can luminesce at a luminance as high as 50 (cd/m<SP>2</SP>) or above even when excited with low-energy electron beams.
